Egrets, herons headed south

  • 5 photos for sale Buy a Photo
  • Right on schedule, York City’s most photographed visitors are leaving town. Trees along Parkway Boulevard were loaded with egrets and herons and their nests since April, but families have hatched, grown, and they will soon be migrating south. Some have already flown.
