  • Bill Kohler, owner of Never Forgotten BBQ in Springettsbury Township, provides pulled pork and pit beef sandwiches to the Baltimore Police Department, Tuesday April 28, 2015. Kohler decided to take meals to the officers defending the city after hearing a news report blaming veterans for the rioting in Baltimore. Arriving 15 minutes before curfew, Baltimore officers had heard Kohler was coming and eagerly helped him unload several large trays of pork, beef, and coleslaw along with rolls and BBQ sauce. One officer pulled up beside the van on the way back onto I-83 and thanked Kohler saying that after two days of eating pizza and cold cuts, he was looking forward to the BBQ. John A.
