Spring Grove High 'pinkout'
Date: 10/9/2012 Album ID: 1547379
Spring Grove High School's student section has a purpose in mind when cheering for their athletic teams. On Friday, Oct, 5, 2012, they showed their support for the fight against cancer with everyone dressing in pink for the Rockets' home football game against Central York High School. The school has had their share of fundraisers to raise money to help battle cancer. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month the students cheering section held their second football game 'pinkout.' They group likes to have a theme for other games too. The first game of the season against West York had a pirates theme. At this Friday's, (Oct. 12) game at Red Lion, they will have a luau attire.
