Lee Hanes, father of combat wounded solider Matthew Hanes, received about $8000 in donations from several different organizations including VFW Post 556, the PA Hero Walk, York County Veteran Affairs, The Korean War Veterans Chapter 178, the Purple Hearts Chapter 390, the 12th Ward Democratic Club, the Ladies Aux. Post 556, and the American Legion Riders Post 543, Sunday December 9, 2012. Matthew is currently in a rehab facility in Florida and his parents are building an addition onto their Manchester home for him when he comes home. John A.
